Presents

a North Carolina Railroad Station in

VAUGHAN

Former Seaboard Air Line Railway depot.

Provenance of this structure is doubtful. Even though most wood passenger/combo stations were shortened in the '50s &'60s by the railroad none of the dimensions match the ICC records according to Lynn McConnell. Most of the beams still have bark on them and the roof is made up of loose fitting 1" boards with tin as roofing. This type of rough construction is not typical on SAL structures.
