| While watching trains on 'the loop' in early Oct. 1996, someone yelled "Look, a steam locomotive over on the Highway". Yup, thar she be, riding on a large truck and trailer. The engine is in front while the tender is right behind. While everyone was gawking at this unusual sight, I did manage to get a shot off. This is the only photograph to exist. I think someone mentioned that it was being moved to Portola. But I'm not sure. If you know, what, from where and where to, e-mail P&WRR and we will put a brief discription here. |
